"Faces and Places" Gallery Exhibition September 2014

The Yellow Barn Gallery at Glen Echo Park in Md. announces an art opening “Faces and Places” for oil painters Sandra Fritter and Michele Soule to be held September 13 and 14. The exhibit will present more than 60 paintings in landscape, figure, and still life and will hang in the gallery from 12 noon to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.  The work displays the artists' personal vision of many local scenes painted plein air and the people encountered along the way.

Artists Fritter and Soule study art with Yellow Barn founder Walter Bartman and other nationally-renowned professional artists.  In 2013 and 2014, Fritter, an impressionist with a fresh and lively style, won several awards for her paintings exhibited in juried shows at the Kentlands Mansion, the Women’s Club, Chevy Chase, and through the Montgomery Village Art Organization. Soule's work has appeared in juried shows at the Washington Studio School in Washington DC.

The exhibit is open to the public.
